Christmas Tree Storage Container Reviews

Lots of choices!
There are a number of options for Christmas Tree Storage Containers. There are plastic storage containers with rigid sides and a removable or flip top lids. There are soft sided storage containers that have carrying handles that are easier to collapse and take up much less room when not in use.

To start we need to think of both use during the year from January to November and also the time during December when the Christmas Tree is up. During the year there are storage locations to consider. Are you storing the tree in the basement? Perhaps in the attic or just a closet. Each of those locations have different environmental factors. If you're storing it in a basement, is there moisture? Is the floor damp? If those factors are present then a flexible storage container would be ruled out. A more rigid plastic container is the choice.

No matter where you're storing it, the question will be whether or not other things will be stacked on top of it. If it's going on a shelf or on top of others then a soft shell works just fine.

Don't forget labeling. Where ever your Christmas Tree is stored, you'll need to find it easily. When Santa's coming, you don't want to be still lookin' for your tree. So put a big sticker, sheet of paper or write on the box so you know exactly where your tree is.

Keep in mind all of the different environmental factors that will impact your tree storage plans. Is there going to be a lot of dust around? If you have it in your garage and there is saw dust or if it's in your basement, is your washer and dryer nearby, since dryers kick out a lot of dust and lint.

Consider also what other kinds of storage containers that you use for other things that need to be stored long term. Do you have a bunch of plastic bins already? Do you have shelves that things sit on? Do you pile everything in a spare bedroom? Is the standard storage option just a semi-random spot in the corner?

Storing your Christmas tree in a regular spot each year in a good container will save you money and keep your tree looking good for a long time to come.
